Meissy (11) believes her wandering father simply has a creative mind, but then it turns out he sees truly crazy things - and they're not always pleasant.
Eleven-year-old Meissy is thrilled when her father, Tom, returns home after years of traveling. However, her mother Lucy forbids her from hanging out with him. Is it because he's homeless? Sneaking out to visit Tom in secret, she gets to know her father and his wandering world, but she also discovers that he sees things that aren't there, and that he believes he's a king!
