A Croatian woman living in Amsterdam travels Europe in search of belonging, only to find it buried in her own family.

Tatjana is lonely. Born in Croatia, she has lived across Europe before settling in Amsterdam. Fifteen years later, her teenage son is embarrassed by her Slavic accent. But the real problem is bigger: Tatjana feels foreign everywhere. Determined to belong, she travels across Europe asking relatives and friends how they found their place, only to discover that the answer lies buried in her own family history.
