Dutch productions at Cinedans FEST

From March 25 to 29, Cinedans FEST ’26 returns with a rich and international film program where the beauty of dance and the power of film come together! In two new Dutch programs a wide selection of recent Dutch short films in which dance flourishes, is being presented.


Dance film in the Netherlands continues to thrive and given a platform during Cinedans FEST ‘ 26! Featuring premieres alongside notable recent works, we invite you to discover the diversity and creative momentum of the Dutch scene in motion.

New Dutch program 
In two New Dutch programs. each program features an exciting selection of recent Dutch short films in which dance flourishes in inventive and provocative ways, in which makers effortlessly switch between absurdity, empathy, and fantasy. With films by Emma Evelein, Miloushka Bokma, breakdance group 155, Siba Sahabi, and others.

The Netherlands Dance Film Archive 
Echoes of a Body of Work is a special program from the Netherlands Dance Film Archive presenting exceptional film work by creators who have recently passed away: Krisztina de Châtel, Hans van Manen, Dick Hauser, and René Hazekamp. Find out more

Documentary
Non Aligned Movement by Sergej Kreso dancer and choreographer Christian Guerematchi searches for acceptance of the world around him by moving through a labyrinth of contradictions that shape his identity—black and white, male and female, present and past. Find out more

Installations and VR
Cinedans presents a.o the new work of Karel van Laere, Daphne van der Velde, Amit Palgi and Matunda Groenendijk.

Cinedans WEB
Cinedans FEST '26 is a hybrid festival. You can watch dance films worldwide on Cinedans WEB. The online festival program will be available from March 26 to April 5.
