Taking place from 12 to 21 May 2026, Le Ballon Rouge aims to create a more inclusive and accessible festival environment for professionals attending Cannes with children. The initiative is organized by the Marché du Film in partnership with the Red Balloon Alliance, and has been providing dedicated childcare services at major international film festivals since 2019.

During this year’s edition, Le Ballon Rouge will offer:

• A fully supervised daycare center within walking distance of the Palais des Festivals, for children aged 6 months to 12 years
• A baby lounge located inside the Palais des Festivals
• Free badges for children and their caregivers, facilitating easier access to the Festival grounds
