Annecy: Hisko Hulsing with Danse Macabre
SEE NL takes the ferry to Eye Filmmuseum with celebrated director Hisko Hulsing, who is returning to Annecy with his latest work Danse Macabre, an apocalyptic nightmare about war, based on music by Dmitri Shostakovich. In Danse Macabre, Shostakovich's music drags us into a violent maelstrom of terror, destruction and human suffering. Produced by Valk Productions and festival distribution handled by Studio Wasia, the short film is selected for the Short Competition.
