Following FOUR JOURNEYS (opening film IDFA 2021), Louis HotHotHot continues filming his family. In 2022, a 28-day quarantine kept him from his father's death and funeral. His mother now lives among widows in a rural village, while his sister hopes marriage can mend the family. Caught between Europe and China, Louis faces an impossible question: should he leave Amsterdam to care for his mother?
